Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:55 AM ADT 22 September 2018 An intense low pressure system will continue to track eastward across
Labrador today while its cold front sweeps across the marine
Gale to storm force southwesterly winds are forecast for all but the
southern most regions of the district ahead of the front. In its
wake, gale to storm force west to northwesterly winds are expected
for the Gulf of St. Lawrence waters before diminishing this evening.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Gulf-Magdalen and Anticosti. Gale warnings are in effect for Fundy,
Grand Manan, Lurcher, southwestern shore, eastern shore, Sable,
Fourchu, Banquereau, Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait and
Atlantic - Maritimes Area
