Issued 2:44 AM AST 26 December 2024 A low pressure system over East Scotian Slope will move slowly east,then north as it weakens to lie over the Grand Banks Friday
afternoon. Gale to storm force northerlies are expected north and
west of the low today into tonight.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Sable - western half and East Scotian Slope - western half.
Gale warnings are in effect for LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope,
eastern shore, Sable - eastern half, East Scotian Slope - eastern
half, Fourchu, Banquereau and Laurentian Fan - western half.
