Issued 8:00 PM ADT 27 May 2020 Tonight and Thursday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight dissipating trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 1000 mb located over northern Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Thursday low 1010 mb located north of Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located southeast
of the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 8:27 PM ADT 27 May 2020 Tropical information statement.

As of 6:00 P.M. ADT on Wednesday, tropical depression Bertha was
located near latitude 34.4 north, longitude 80.3 west, or about 45
nautical miles east-northeast of Columbia, South Carolina. Bertha was
moving towards the north-northwest at about 13 knots and had maximum
sustained winds of 25 knots. Bertha is expected to gradually weaken
tonight as it moves across North Carolina and is currently not
expected to affect the marine district.
