At 10:00 a.m. ADT Sunday trough located over the St. Lawrence River.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Sunday trough located over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:25 AM ADT 23 March 2019 A low pressure system in the Bay of Fundy will move to lie over the
Eastern Gulf of St. Lawrence by this evening. Strong to gale force
easterlies ahead of the low become strong to gale force westerlies in
its wake. Late Sunday a trough will track southward across the Gulf
of St. Lawrence. Gale force northwest winds and colder temperatures
are expected in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher..Browns Bank..Georges Bank..Southwestern shore..LaHave Bank..
West Scotian Slope..Eastern shore..Sable..East Scotian Slope..
Banquereau..Laurentian Fan and Anticosti. A freezing spray warning is
in effect for Anticosti. In addition, higher than normal water levels
can be expected during high tide along the Atlantic Coast of Nova
Scotia this morning.
