Issued 10:00 AM AST 28 February 2024 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:00 a.m. AST today cold front located over the Great Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight intensifying cold front located from
Quebec to Long Island.

At 10:00 a.m. AST Thursday cold front located from Anticosti Island
to West Scotian Slope.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Thursday cold front located east of the Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:40 AM AST 28 February 2024 A strong cold front will approach slowly from the west today and move
eastward across the marine district tonight and Thursday. Gale force
southerly winds ahead of the front will shift to gale force
westerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, East
Scotian Slope, and Laurentian Fan.
