By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight trough located east of the Marine District.

At 10:00 a.m. AST today high 1032 mb located over New England.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Friday high 1030 mb located over Banquereau.

At 3:30 p.m. AST Friday approaching trough located west of the
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:46 AM AST 17 January 2019 A trough of low pressure currently near Labrador will continue to
bring strong to gale force northwesterlies through the day today as
well as a very cold airmass prompting widespread freezing spray over
all but extreme southern waters.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, southwestern
shore, LaHave Bank, eastern shore, Sable, Fourchu, Banquereau, Cabot
Strait, Northumberland Strait, Gulf - Magdalen and Anticosti.
