Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:47 AM ADT 8 March 2026 A trough of low pressure over Anticosti Island will track eastward
today reaching Newfoundland by this evening and the Labrador Sea on
Monday. Strong to gale force southwesterly winds ahead of the trough
will diminish in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Banquereau - northern half.
