By 10:00 a.m. AST Friday trough located from the Bay of Fundy to
East Scotian Slope.
At 10:00 a.m. AST today ridge located over the southwestern Marine
District.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight weakening ridge located over East Scotian
Slope.

Issued 9:44 AM AST 21 November 2024 An area of gale force northeasterlies over portions of the NorthernGulf of St. Lawrence will persist today and tonight before
diminishing somewhat Friday afternoon.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf-Magdalen - northwestern half, Chaleur-Miscou - eastern half and
Anticosti - southeastern half.
Outlook for the start of the Southwest Nova lobster fishery.
Saturday..Winds variable 15 to 20 knots increasing to southwesterly
25 knots near noon. Seas near 2 metres. Sunday..Winds northwesterly
35 knots. Seas 3 to 4 metres. Monday..Winds northwesterly 25 to 30
