By 8:00 p.m. AST Friday low 985 mb located over eastern Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:57 PM AST 2 January 2025 A low pressure system over the St Lawrence River will slowly track
northward to lie over Eastern Quebec by Friday evening. Strong
southeasterlies ahead of this feature will shift to strong to gale
force westerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern
shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, Sable and East Scotian Slope.
