By 3:30 p.m. NST Thursday departing low 962 mb located southeast
of Greenland.
At 3:00 a.m. NST Thursday deepening low 999 mb located over Maine.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Friday low 975 mb located over Funk Island Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:57 PM NST 24 February 2021 A deepening low pressure system east of Funk Island Bank will tracknortheastwards tonight to lie southeast of Greenland by Thursday
afternoon. Strong to gale force northeasterlies can be expected to
the north of the low, with strong to gale force west to
northwesterlies in its wake.
A second low will approach the marine district from the southwest on
Thursday. Strong to gale force south to southwesterlies will develop
over southern waters late in the day on Thursday ahead of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters and Southwest Coast.
