Issued 3:30 PM NST 11 December 2024 Tonight and Thursday At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the eastern Marine District.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Thursday departing ridge located east of the
Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today deepening low 999 mb located over the
northeastern United States.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Thursday low 969 mb located south of Ungava Bay.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:26 PM NST 11 December 2024 A low pressure system over the Northeastern United States will
continue to deepen as it tracks northward across Quebec tonight and
Thursday to lie south of Ungava Bay by Thursday afternoon. Strong
southeasterlies will spread over most waters and shift to strong to
gale force south to southwesterlies as the low moves northward.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except South Coast, East Coast, and the Grand Banks.
