Issued 3:30 PM NDT 8 September 2026 Tonight and Wednesday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 994 mb located east of Belle Isle Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight departing low 996 mb located northeast
of the Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough located on a line east-west over
the South Coast of Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday trough located southeast of the
Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday approaching ridge located on a line
north-south over New Brunswick.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:11 PM NDT 8 September 2026 A low pressure system east of Belle Isle Bank will continue
northeastward to depart out to sea tonight. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies over northeastern waters in its wake will diminish
tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island
Bank.
