Issued 3:30 PM NST 23 November 2017 Tonight and Friday At 3:30 p.m. NST today low 979 mb located over Gulf - Port au Port.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Friday low 977 mb located over Labrador Sea.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today departing ridge located east of the Grand
Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:16 PM NST 23 November 2017 An intense low pressure system near Bay of Islands will move to lie
off the Northeast Coast this evening. The low will then turn
northwestward and move across the Labrador Sea on Friday. Gale force
southeasterlies ahead of the low will shift to gale to storm force
southwesterlies in its wake. Strong to gale force west to
southwesterlies will persist on Thursday.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port and the Southwest Coast. Gale warnings are in
effect for all remaining waters.
