Issued 8:00 PM NDT 22 March 2018 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 990 mb located near Halifax.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Friday low 994 mb located over the Northeast
Coast of Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough from 990 mb low located from the
low to the Grand Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Friday trough from 994 mb low located on a line
northeast-southwest over northern Funk Island Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:51 PM NDT 22 March 2018 A low pressure system near Halifax and an associated trough
stretching eastward across the Grand Banks will move northward
tonight to lie from Central Newfoundland to the Funk Island Bank by
Friday afternoon. Strong to gale force easterlies to northeasterlies
will spread over all waters tonight and Friday ahead of these
features. Strong to gale force southwesterlies can be expected to the
south of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the Southwestern Grand Banks.
