Issued 3:00 AM NST 24 January 2019 Today Tonight and Friday At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Newfoundland.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing ridge located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight intensifying low 986 mb located over Maine.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Friday low 967 mb located over Labrador Sea.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today departing trough located east of the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:49 AM NST 24 January 2019 A deepening low pressure system approaching from the southwest today
will track across Central Labrador Friday morning and then move into
the Labrador Sea by Friday evening. Strong to gale force southerlies
will spread across all waters tonight and persist through Friday.

Marine interests are advised gale warnings are in effect all regions
except the Northern Grand Banks and Southeastern Grand Banks.
