Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:44 AM NDT 18 June 2018 A low pressure system over Northern Quebec will split into two lows
tonight. Strong to gale force southerly winds will develop over all
waters tonight and Tuesday as the southern low deepens and crosses
the northern marine district.
The two lows will merge back into one low pressure system late on
Tuesday over the Labrador Sea, with winds diminishing to strong
westerlies in its wake Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port, Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, Funk
Island Bank, and Northern Grand Banks.
