Issued 8:00 PM NST 27 February 2020 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over Nova Scotia.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Friday trough located on a line east-west over
Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over northeastern Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Friday ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Belle Isle Bank.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing trough located east of Funk
Island Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:44 PM NST 27 February 2020 An intensifying trough of low pressure will approach the marine
district from the southwest on Friday. Gale to storm force easterlies
will spread across most waters ahead of the trough tonight, with
strong to gale force westerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Southwest Coast. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters
except Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf,
Southwest Coast, and the Grand Banks.
