Sea.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Thursday low 990 mb located over southwestern
Greenland.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today trough located over the East Coast of
Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Thursday departing trough located east of the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:24 PM NST 26 January 2022 A trough of low pressure over the East Coast of Newfoundland will
slowly move eastward to lie east of the Grand Banks Thursday morning.
Strong to gale force southeasterlies to southerlies ahead of the
trough will diminish to strong northwesterlies behind it.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and the Southern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Gulf - Port au Port, East Coast - north of Cape St.
Francis, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
