Issued 8:00 PM NST 23 November 2024 Tonight and Sunday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight low 971 mb located over Nova Scotia.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Sunday low 983 mb located over Cabot Strait.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 8:01 PM NST 23 November 2024 An intense low pressure system over the Maritimes will remain nearly
stationary until later Sunday when it will start drifting
northeastward towards Newfoundland. Gale force easterlies to
southeasterlies ahead of the low will become strong to gale force
easterlies to northeasterlies as the low approaches Newfoundland
later Sunday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Southwestern Grand Banks.
