Issued 10:00 AM NST 10 December 2025 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 955 mb located south of Greenland.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing low 956 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today deepening low 991 mb located near the
Great Lakes.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Thursday deepening low 984 mb located over
New Brunswick.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Cabot Strait.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Thursday departing ridge located east of Funk
Island Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:54 AM NST 10 December 2025 An intense low pressure system south of Greenland will continue to
slowly track northeastward away from the district today. Strong to
gale force west to northwesterlies will persist in the low's wake
until this evening.

A second low pressure system will approach the district from the west
tonight and track into the Gulf of St. Lawrence on Thursday. Strong
to gale force southwesterlies will develop over most waters ahead of
this system.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Coast, Northeast Coast - Cape St. John and south, Belle Isle
Bank, Funk Island Bank, and the Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Northeast Coast -
north of Cape St. John, and Belle Isle Bank.
