Issued 3:30 PM NST 1 December 2023 Tonight and Saturday At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over the southeastern Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Saturday ridge located southeast of the Marine
District.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today trough located over southeastern Labrador.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Saturday departing trough located east of Belle
Isle Bank.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today building ridge located over Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Saturday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:21 PM NST 1 December 2023 A trough of low pressure over Southeastern Labrador will track
eastward to lie over the Belle Isle Bank tonight before moving to lie
east of the marine district Saturday afternoon. Strong
southeasterlies ahead of the trough will increase to strong to gale
force southwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand Banks.
