By 8:00 p.m. NST Monday trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over the East Coast of Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight low 974 mb located southeast of the
Grand Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Monday low 974 mb located east of the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 8:02 PM NST 8 February 2026 A trough of low pressure over the Belle Isle Bank will continue to
move southward to lie over Newfoundland on Monday. Strong to gale
force northeasterlies will develop to the north of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle and Belle Isle Bank.
