Issued 8:00 PM NST 25 January 2022 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight low 1009 mb located south of Anticosti
Island.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday deepening low 998 mb located over
southern Labrador Sea.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Wednesday departing ridge located east of the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:49 PM NST 25 January 2022 A low pressure system over the Southern Gulf of St. Lawrence will
move to lie over the Quebec Lower North Shore Wednesday morning then
over South Labrador Sea in the afternoon. Strong to gale force
southeasterlies to southerlies will spread across the district
tonight into Wednesday ahead of the low before shifting to strong to
gale force southwesterlies to westerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Northern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk
Island Bank.
