Issued 3:00 AM NDT 4 August 2020 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over southern Belle Isle Bank.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday trough located on a line east-west over
the southern Grand Banks.

By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight building ridge located over Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:49 AM NDT 4 August 2020 At 3:30 AM NDT, hurricane Isaias was located near 34.7 north and 78.1
west, about 28 nautical miles northwest of Wilmington, North
Carolina. Isaias has a minimum pressure of 989 MB and maximum
sustained winds of 70 knots. Isaias is currently moving
north-northeastward at 23 knots, and is expected to weaken and pass
west of New Brunswick and into Southern Quebec early Wednesday
morning.

Isaias is currently not expected to have significant impact on
Newfoundland waters.
