Issued 3:00 AM NST 22 February 2019 Today Tonight and Saturday At 3:00 a.m. NST today low 998 mb located south of Laurentian Fan.
By 3:30 p.m. NST today departing low 964 mb located southeast of
the Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today intensifying trough located over southern
Labrador Sea.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Saturday trough located over eastern Belle
Isle Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today weakening ridge located on a line east-west
over Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:39 AM NST 22 February 2019 A trough of low pressure will develop over the Labrador Sea this
morning and then begin to move southeastwards. Gale force
northwesterlies are expected to develop over northern waters ahead of
this feature this evening.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf and
Northeast Coast which are mainly ice covered.
