over Funk Island Bank.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Friday weakening ridge located east of the Marine
District.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 974 mb located over northern New England.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Friday low 988 mb located over the Quebec Lower
North Shore.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:17 PM NDT 17 October 2019 A low pressure system over Northern New England will move to lie over
the Quebec Lower North Shore Friday afternoon then drift slowly
northeastward. Strong to gale force east to southeasterly winds will
develop over southwestern waters this evening and spread to remaining
waters by Friday morning ahead of this system.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the Strait of Belle Isle and the Grand Banks.
