Issued 3:30 PM NST 13 December 2017 Tonight and Thursday At 3:30 p.m. NST today intensifying low 974 mb located over the
Gaspe Peninsula.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Thursday low 965 mb located over western Labrador.

At 3:30 p.m. NST Thursday approaching low 994 mb located southwest
of the Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today departing ridge located east of the Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:15 PM NST 13 December 2017 An intensifying low pressure system over the Gaspé Peninsula will
move to lie over Western Labrador tonight, then remain nearly
stationary on Thursday. Gale force southeasterlies will continue to
spread eastward tonight, and shift to strong to gale force
southwesterlies in its wake.

On Thursday a second low approaching from the southwest will track
over the South Coast of Newfoundland in the evening. Gale to storm
force southerlies are expected ahead of this feature.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
South Coast and East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters.
