of Greenland.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough located from the low to the
Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Thursday departing trough located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Laurentian Fan.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Thursday departing ridge located east of the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:47 PM NST 23 January 2019 A trough of low pressure over the eastern periphery of the marine
district will continue tracking eastward tonight. Strong to gale
force northwesterlies over eastern waters will diminish to moderate
to strong westerlies as the trough departs.

Another low approaching from the southwest will spread gale force
southerlies over Gulf - Port au Port late on Thursday.

Marine interests are advised gale warnings are in effect for Gulf -
Port au Port, Funk Island Bank, Northern Grand Banks, and
Southeastern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for East Coast, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank and Funk
Island Bank.
