Wind northwest 20 to 25 knots diminishing to variable 10 to 15 this evening then increasing to south 25 late overnight. Wind increasing to south 35 Tuesday morning and to south 40 to 50 near noon Tuesday. Wind diminishing to west 35 Tuesday evening.

Showers ending this evening. Rain and fog patches beginning Tuesday morning.

Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 3:30 PM NDT 15 October 2018 Tonight and Tuesday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today ridge located over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday departing ridge located east of the
Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight deepening low 995 mb located over Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday low 963 mb located over southeastern
Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:20 PM NDT 15 October 2018 A low pressure system over Quebec this evening will rapidly deepen as
it moves to lie over Southeastern Labrador Tuesday evening. Gale to
storm force south to southeasterlies will develop ahead of this
system then shift to gale to storm force west to southwesterlies in
its wake.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
all waters except Southeastern Grand Banks where gale a warning is in
effect.
