Issued 10:00 AM NDT 15 May 2026 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today low 999 mb located north of Sable Island.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Saturday low 993 mb located near the Burin
Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:53 AM NDT 15 May 2026 A low pressure system will approach from the southwest today,
crossing Newfoundland on Saturday. Strong to gale force east to
southeasterlies over southern waters ahead of the low will shift to
strong to gale force west to northwesterlies behind it on Saturday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, and the Grand Banks.
