Issued 3:00 AM NDT 25 October 2020 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today Hurricane Epsilon 960 mb located south of
Laurentian Fan.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday Post-tropical Storm Epsilon 975 mb located
south of Greenland.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over western Newfoundland.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today departing trough located east of Belle
Isle Bank.

By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday approaching ridge located over the
Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:48 AM NDT 25 October 2020 Hurricane epsilon will likely transition to a strong post-tropical
storm while tracking across the Southern Grand Banks today. Gale to
storm force southeasterlies ahead of epsilon will shift to storm to
hurricane force southwesterlies to the south of its track. In the
wake of epsilon, gale to storm force northwesterlies are expected
across eastern waters. Winds will diminish on Monday as epsilon
departs to the east and a ridge of high pressure approaches from the
west.

Marine interests are advised that a hurricane force wind warning is
in effect for Southeastern Grand Banks - southeastern half.
Storm warnings are in effect for Southeastern Grand Banks -
northwestern half and Southwestern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in
effect for East Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and the
Northern Grand Banks.

At 3:00 A.M. NDT, hurricane epsilon was located near latitude 42.1
north and longitude 54.6 west, or about 280 nautical miles
south-southwest of Cape Race. Maximum sustained winds were estimated
at 65 knots and central pressure at 960 MB. Epsilon is moving
northeastward at 21 knots and is expected to pass through the
Southern Grand Banks today likely as a strong post-tropical storm,
before departing to the east on Monday.
