Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:25 PM NST 25 January 2021 A trough of low pressure over Southwestern Newfoundland will slowly
move south tonight and Tuesday. Strong to gale force north to
northeasterlies can be expected to the north of this feature.
A low pressure system located south of the Grand Banks will track
southeastwards tonight. Gale force west to northerlies can be
expected over far southwestern waters this evening in the wake of the
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and the Southwestern Grand Banks.
