the Quebec Lower North Shore.
At 3:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 985 mb located over the
northern Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Sunday low 970 mb located over Belle Isle Bank.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:57 AM NDT 17 March 2018 A deepening low pressure system over the Northern Grand Banks will
skirt the eastern edge of the Funk Island Bank today before moving to
lie over the Belle Isle Bank tonight. Strong to gale force northwest
to southwesterlies will develop tonight south of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast - Cape St. Francis and
south, and the Grand Banks.
