Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:52 AM NDT 13 May 2025 A low pressure system east of Funk Island Bank will drift furthereastwards away from the district today, and then become nearly
stationary through Wednesday while gradually weakening. Strong to
gale force northwesterlies over northern waters will slowly diminish
as the low weakens and a ridge of high pressure builds towards the
district from the west.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island
Bank.
