located at 44.1N 55.4W.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Saturday weakening Post-tropical Storm Humberto
981 mb located at 46.1N 43.1W.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough located over northern Newfoundland.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Saturday trough located east of Funk Island Bank.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located over Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Saturday dissipating ridge located on a line
east-west over Funk Island Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:59 PM NDT 20 September 2019 At 9.30 PM NDT, post-tropical storm Humberto will be located near
latitude 44.1 north and longitude 55.4 west , about 184 nautical
miles or 341 kilometres south-southwest of Cape Race. Maximum
sustained winds are estimated at 60 knots (111 km/h) and central
pressure at 978 MB. Humberto is moving east-northeast at 19 knots (35
km/h).

Humberto will continue northeastward and weaken as it tracks through
the Southern Grand Banks tonight.

Gale force southeasterlies ahead of Humberto will increase to gale to
storm force southwesterlies to its south this evening. Strong to gale
force northwesterlies will persist behind Humberto on Saturday.

Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure moving southward from Labrador
will track across the district tonight and Saturday. Strong to gale
force northerlies are expected behind the trough on Saturday.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
the Southern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in effect for Northeast
Gulf, East Coast, Northeast Coast, Funk Island Bank, and Northern
Grand Banks.
