Issued 10:00 AM NST 23 November 2024 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:00 a.m. NST today deepening low 987 mb located south ofNova Scotia.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight quasi-stationary low 971 mb located near
Prince Edward Island.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:56 AM NST 23 November 2024 A low pressure system south of Nova Scotia will continue to deepen asit tracks northward to lie near Prince Edward Island by this evening
where it will stall until late Sunday. Gale to storm force easterlies
to southeasterlies will develop ahead of the low today. Winds will
gradually diminish to strong to gale force easterlies to
northeasterlies as the low slowly approaches Newfoundland late
Sunday.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Southwest Coast. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters.
