Issued 8:00 PM NST 11 December 2025 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight deepening low 979 mb located over the
Great Northern Peninsula.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Friday low 962 mb located southeast of Labrador
Sea.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Friday trough from low located on a line east-west
over the Quebec Lower North Shore.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Friday trough from low located on a line
northeast-southwest over Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:59 PM NST 11 December 2025 A deepening low pressure system over the Great Northern Peninsula
will continue to track northeastwards tonight. A trailing trough will
follow behind the low, crossing Newfoundland Friday night. Strong to
gale force northeasterlies north of the low and strong to gale force
southwesterlies south of the low will diminish tonight for a period
before increasing again to strong to gale force southwesterlies ahead
of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle and Gulf - Port au Port.
