Issued 8:00 PM NST 17 January 2022 Tonight and Tuesday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located over the Grand Banks.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Tuesday ridge located east of the Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight low 978 mb located west of New Brunswick.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Tuesday low 978 mb located over central Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:40 PM NST 17 January 2022 A low pressure system located just west of New Brunswick will track
northeastwards tonight before moving into Labrador by Tuesday
afternoon. Gale to storm force southeasterlies are forecast as the
low passes west of the marine district.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Gulf-Port au Port, Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast,
Northeast Coast - Cape St. John and south, Belle Isle Bank, Funk
Island Bank and Southwestern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in effect
for all remaining waters.

Marine interests are further advised a high water level warning is in
effect for Southwest Coast for high tide Tuesday morning.
