At 10:00 a.m. NST today departing high located southeast of the
Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Sunday approaching ridge located over Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:49 AM NST 15 December 2018 An approaching trough will cross Newfoundland today. Strong to gale
force west to southwesterlies ahead of the trough will veer to strong
to near gale force west to northwesterlies tonight over the Grand
Banks.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle.
