over the Strait of Belle Isle.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over the southeastern Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located south of the Grand Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing ridge located southeast of the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:30 PM NST 3 March 2024 A trough of low pressure approaching from the north will continue to
sweep across the marine district today Monday. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies will persist northern waters in the wake of the
trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Southwest Coast, South Coast, and the
Southern Grand Banks.
