Banks.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today departing low 1015 mb located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over eastern Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over western Quebec.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:46 AM NDT 17 June 2024 A trough of low pressure over Quebec will move to lie over the
Labrador Sea on Tuesday. Meanwhile a ridge of high pressure will
build over Newfoundland today. Strong to gale force southwesterlies
are expected between these features on Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle.
