Issued 8:00 PM NST 22 January 2019 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight low 993 mb located east of Belle Isle Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday low 987 mb located south of Greenland.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough located from the low to the Gulf
of St. Lawrence.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Wednesday trough located east of the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:55 PM NST 22 January 2019 A low pressure system east of the Belle Isle Bank will slowly
continue eastward tonight. An associated trough extending
southwestward from the low, across the Quebec Lower North Shore, will
begin to track eastwards across Newfoundland tonight. Strong to gale
force northerlies over northern waters will spread southeastwards
tonight and Wednesday. Winds will diminish to moderate to strong
westerlies as the trough departs Wednesday night.

Marine interests are advised gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except for Southwest Coast, South Coast and Southern Grand
Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except South Coast and the Grand Banks.
