By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located over the southeastern
Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over the St. Lawrence River.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 1013 mb located over central Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:46 AM NDT 20 October 2020 A low pressure system approaching from the west will cross the Belle
Isle Bank overnight then move quickly east of the marine district by
Wednesday morning. Strong to gale force southwesterlies will develop
over northeastern waters tonight ahead of the low then shift to
strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake. Winds will diminish
as the low moves away.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank.
