Issued 3:30 PM NST 22 February 2019 Tonight and Saturday At 3:30 p.m. NST today intensifying trough located over southern
Labrador Sea.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Saturday trough located over eastern Funk Island
Bank.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today departing low 964 mb located southeast of
the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:25 PM NST 22 February 2019 A trough of low pressure over the Labrador Sea will begin to move
southeastwards tonight. Gale force northwesterlies are expected to
develop over northern waters ahead of this feature this evening.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf and
Northeast Coast which are mainly ice covered.
