Issued 3:00 AM NST 9 March 2021 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 3:00 a.m. NST today deepening low 986 mb located south of theGrand Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing low 970 mb located east of the
Grand Banks.
At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Wednesday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Laurentian Fan.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:46 AM NST 9 March 2021 A deepening low pressure system south of Southeastern Grand Bankswill track northeastward today and depart this evening. Strong to
gale force northeasterly winds ahead of the low will shift to gale to
storm force north to northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Southeastern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in effect for Northern
Grand Banks and Southwestern Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Belle Isle Bank.
