By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday departing ridge located over the northern
Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today intensifying low 990 mb located over
southern Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday low 992 mb located north of the Gaspe
Peninsula.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough located south of the Grand Banks.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT today departing trough located southeast of the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:52 AM NDT 17 May 2022 A low pressure system will approach from the southwest today and
tonight before tracking northeastwards across Labrador on Wednesday.
Strong to gale force southeasterlies will spread across all waters
ahead of this system.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port.
