Issued 10:00 AM NST 17 November 2019 Today Tonight and Monday At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 966 mb located south of Greenland.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday departing low 961 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over New England.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Monday ridge located from the Grand Banks to
the Gaspe Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:00 AM NST 17 November 2019 An intense low pressure system south of Greenland will continue to
produce gale to storm force northwesterly winds over most waters
today, except over the Belle Isle Bank where storm to hurricane force
northwesterlies continue this morning. Winds will gradually subside
tonight and into Monday as the low moves eastward into the Atlantic
and a ridge of high pressure approaches from the southwest.

Marine interests are advised that a hurricane force wind warning is
in effect for Belle Isle Bank. A storm warning is in effect for Funk
Island Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for Strait of Belle Isle,
East Coast, Northeast Coast, Northern Grand Banks and Southeastern
Grand Banks.
