Greenland.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over the southwestern Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Friday trough located on a line north-south over
the southwestern Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line east-west over
Newfoundland.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
east-west over Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:51 AM NST 26 December 2024 A trough of low pressure will remain nearly stationary over the
Southwestern Grand Banks today. Strong to gale force east to
southeasterlies are expected east of the trough, with strong to gale
force northeasterlies to its north and west.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Coast, East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south, and the Grand
Banks.
