Issued 9:30 PM NDT 11 March 2025 Tonight and Wednesday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary trough located on a linenorthwest-southeast over central Labrador Sea.
At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located over the coast of Labrador.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Wednesday dissipating ridge located off Labrador
Coast.
At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight trough located over western Labrador.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Wednesday low 993 mb located over the South
Labrador Coast.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:21 PM NDT 11 March 2025 A trough of low pressure over the Central Labrador Sea will remainnearly stationary tonight before gradually weakening on Wednesday.
Gale to storm force southeasterlies to the east of the trough will
persist through the forecast period, while strong to gale force
northwesterlies to its west will diminish on Wednesday as the trough
weakens.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea. A gale warning is in effect for South Labrador
Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Sea and Northwest Labrador Sea.
