Issued 9:30 PM NST 24 February 2024 Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 984 mb located west of Newfoundland.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Sunday low 980 mb located east of Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:09 PM NST 24 February 2024 A low pressure system just west of Newfoundland will track
northeastward tonight and Sunday to lie east of the Labrador Sea by
Sunday afternoon. Strong to gale force northwesterlies will develop
over southern waters overnight as the low approaches and diminish
late Sunday as the low moves east of the Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast - Hopedale and south, and
South Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
