Technical Marine SynopsisIssued 4:00 PM NDT 22 September 2018 Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today intensifying low 966 mb located off the
Mid Labrador Coast.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Sunday quasi-stationary low 960 mb located over
the East Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:47 PM NDT 22 September 2018 An intense low pressure system off the Mid Labrador Coast will move
to lie over the East Labrador Sea by Sunday morning where it will
remain nearly stationary.
Gale to storm force southeasterly to northeasterly winds will shift
to storm to hurricane force southwesterly to northwesterlies over all
waters behind the low tonight and Sunday.
Marine interests are advised that hurricane force wind warnings are
in effect for Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and East
Labrador Sea. Storm warnings are in effect for all remaining waters.
