Issued 9:30 AM NST 2 March 2024 Today Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 a.m. NST today trough located over northern Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NST tonight departing trough located over the eastern
East Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight trough located over northern Quebec.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Sunday intensifying low 1003 mb located over the
North Labrador Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:27 AM NST 2 March 2024 A trough of low pressure over Northern Quebec will intensify into a
low as it tracks southeastward across the Labrador Sea Sunday.
Gale to storm force northwesterly winds will develop on Sunday west
of the low.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
South Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for South Labrador
Coast, Mid Labrador Coast and Northwest Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
