Issued 9:30 PM NST 12 December 2017 Tonight and Wednesday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight departing trough located east of the
Marine District.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight ridge located over Labrador.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Wednesday departing ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over eastern Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight intensifying low 991 mb located over
New England.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Wednesday low 968 mb located north of the Gaspe
Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:12 PM NST 12 December 2017 A trough of low pressure east of the Labrador Sea will continue its
eastward track tonight. Strong to gale force northwesterlies will
diminish tonight as a ridge of high pressure approaches.

An intensifying low pressure system will approach Labrador from the
south on Wednesday. Strong to gale force easterlies will develop over
most waters late Wednesday ahead of this low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except North Labrador Coast and Northwest Labrador Sea -
southern half.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except East Labrador Sea.
